SEARCHING FOR GOD KNOWS WHAT

This is the title of a 2004 book written by Donald Miller. I haven't read the book but I think its title describes life for many of us.

"And if you cry out for insight
And cry aloud for understanding
And if you look for it as for silver
And search for it as for hidden treasure
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord
And find the knowledge of God."

- Proverbs 2:3-5

Of all things that we can seek and search for, knowledge of God is of highest value. What if you and I put just a portion of the time and effort we spend searching for God knows what into searching after the knowledge of God himself?
