Heb 11:3

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

I love this verse in Romans 1:20 because it acknowledges that God is in fact invisible. Stop for a second to think about the rationality of the Christian faith. The fact that we as believers worship an invisible God who sends His invisible spirit inside of us, and that there is an invisible place called heaven and that these invisible beings called angels that protect us until we get there, is nothing short of insane! It's no wonder explaining your faith to a friend can be so difficult and strange at times.

Although God's physical presence will likely remain invisible until His return, His fingerprints and the evidence for existence surrounds us daily. If you look up into the heavens, God is there. Psalm 19:1-2 says the heavens proclaim the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of his hands, day after day they pour forth speech." If you have even listened to the pounding of waves on the sand, you have heard God's power. If you have even walked though a forest of towering trees, you have seen his glory. Since the beginning of time, God's creation has been screaming out to you and I, "There is a God, there is a God, there is a God," and yet some people continue to deny that He exists.

Regardless of the advancements in science that will be made in years to come, there will always be things that our finite human understanding will unable to explain. The must fundamental question for the believer in regards to creation is not the age of the earth or the intricacies of how it was created, but the identity of the creator. Hebrews 11:3 reads, "By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command." Don't wait until you understand all of creation to put your faith and trust in God or you never will. Simply look around you his fingerprints, his eternal power and divine nature, and you will find that a supreme being, not a man, set the world in motion. Even though you don't know how it all works, put your faith in Him, you full faith, and give the creator the worship He deserves
